Growing up in The Bronx as a first-generation Afro Latina woman, I grew up thinking that a great time consists of
a train ride downtown to NYC. A great time that consist of brunch, dinner, happy hour, yoga, nails, hair, makeup, shopping, date spots and much more. Welp! I am happy to share with you that everything I need is located here in my borough.
There are many small businesses in our borough that need support from us and there are people looking for business to support (if that makes sense). Whether you are from the Bronx or not, you are welcome to take a walk with me as I explore the hidden gems.
As a Bronx native, why not support local businesses in your neighborhood? By doing this, you are helping your community to build a better tomorrow.
If we are not supporting and fighting for our neighborhoods, then who will?
