Beautiful stay in Spain

Castelldefels, Spain

Although Barcelona has my heart, I fell in love with Castelldefels. There are less people around, authentic food and its reasonably priced compared to Barcelona. This town is famous for its long beach and it is only an hour away from Barcelona. Most people go to Barcelona because its obviously more popular, but face more crows, less authentic food and high prices. If you are looking to stay near a beach with less traffic, go for Castelldefels. The beach has a long boardwalk, that you can enjoy anytime of the day. It also has a number of restaurants on the beach, where you can enjoy the view followed by a few glasses of wine.

TRAVEL TIP: Whenever you are traveling, my biggest advice is to eat a nutritional breakfast before beginning your tour. You may ask why? Well, realistically tours and sightseeing require a ton of walking. Which means that you need a lot of energy, so that you can keep up. I learned this from experience, do not skip any meals when you are traveling.

One thing that I highly recommend, is to stop by at Mercado de La Boqueria. In the market there are tons of food vendors that offer high quality food, such as natural juice, fruits, cheese, ice cream, seafood, meat, cheese, oil, nuts and plenty of sweets. As you walk in you will be welcomed by a delicious smell in the air of food and the bright colors all over the market. Everything in the market is cheap, you can get a big bang out of your buck. Which is why I enjoy it so much!

Are you planning on going to Spain?

If so, where in Spain are you looking to travel?

A visit to Paris, “The city of love”

If you did not know before, Paris is known to be “the city of love”. There are many different reasons why, one being that it is a popular destination for newly weds to enjoy their honeymoons. Although I was not on my honeymoon, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time visiting all of the sights, trying out french pastries and walking throughout the city.

One thing that we enjoyed on our trip in Paris was the boutiques! I love shopping and Paris has a lot of boutiques to shop from. While shopping, a Parisian shared with me some tips and tricks for a perfect modern outfit. (Will include in a separate post)

TIP: If you are looking for modern fashion tips or inspirations, I suggest that you look into French Fashion (I am so obsessed with their sense of fashion). It is simple but yet very stylish.

Here are some photos from our trip in Paris!!

Vacation in Amsterdam

As you guys know, my boyfriend & I took a trip to Europe for a whole month. Amsterdam is by far our favorite city, ever!! For one, there are soooo many fun things to do and its such a chill city. We are Americans and know very little of the Dutch language, but the city is English friendly for the most part. We loved it so much, that we extended our trip here. Below I included, some photos of the city. (In a separate post I will list the things that we did) Genieten!

Pho in London

After four nights in London, we decided to visit Chinatown and have a bowl of our favorite Vietnamese food, Pho! I wish I can give you a sample so that you can understand how delicious it was. If you are in London, I recommend that you stop by for a bowl of Pho in Chinatown!

London was so much fun! Although it is different it reminded me so much of New York City, lights, crowd and plenty of things to do. One thing that I found very pleasant was that it was very easy to get around by transportation. We were very lucky that our travel to the city from our hotel was a piece of cake. Overall, I would recommend London as a city to hit if you are traveling due to its rich history and architecture. Another thing, Buckingham palace is walking distance to Winter Wonderland (at the right time of the year of course) London eye, Big Ben, Sea Life London Aquarium (if you are traveling with kids) and plenty of shops for souvenir shopping, so no worries!
